Our licensed University of Miami practitioners provide onsite services that include Speech & Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Infant Mental Health Therapy.

Speech & Language Therapy

Speech-Language Pathologists support the communication goals of the individual child.  The Individual Family Support Plan (IFSP) team, which includes a Speech Language Pathologist, determines the type, frequency, duration, and appropriate service delivery model.

Our on-site speech & language therapists are available to conduct screenings and evaluations, facilitate training, and support specialized instructional approaches.

Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapists address various performance areas such as activities of daily living, muscle tone/strengthening, coordination, fine motor skills, sensory processing, and work/play skills.  The occupational therapist may provide a home activity program to reinforce skills.

Our on-site occupational therapists are available to conduct screenings and evaluations, facilitate training, and support specialized instructional approaches.

Infant Mental Health Therapy

Children who would benefit from Infant Mental Health (IMH) services have an identified delay in social and emotional development.  An IMH therapist is focused on a child’s capacity to experience and express emotions, foster relationships, explore the environment, and learn.  IMH is best supported through a combined approach that includes early intervention and prevention activities.

Our on-site IMH therapists are available to conduct screenings and evaluations, facilitate training, and support specialized instructional approaches.

The Linda Ray Intervention Center is a member of the Florida Association for Infant Mental Health (FAIMH).  For more information, please visit www.faimh.org.
